Son Almendros used to be the private residence of Thomas Wegner (1946 – 2016), an avid art collector, self-taught architect, music lover, entrepreneur, budding olive grower and philanthropist.
He designed Finca Son Almendros in the 2000s and later added his last ambitious project – Morgana (named after the illusion of having a mirage). Son Almendros is defined in the truest sense of the word by its staircase that seems to rise into the sky and encloses the courtyard and the swimming pool.
The swimming pool, which can be accessed through the kitchen, courtyard and first floor (if you dare!), is 20 m wide and up to 5 m deep. The lush gardens and terraces invite you to relax, soak up the Mallorcan sun and experience life as Thomas would have done. The interior is tastefully decorated and leaves nothing to chance.
The beautiful stone finca “Son Almendros” is located in the province of Felanitx and in the pretty little village of Cas Concos de Cavaller, an old town with 400 inhabitants. Within a 15-30 minute drive you can reach the popular resorts of Santanyi, Cala d’Or, Campos and Manacor.
