Bangkok. One of the most exciting metropolises in the world. Loud, hot, crowded – 24 hours a day! Food stalls on every street corner. It smells of exotic spices and adventure. Thai food is a cultural asset – the variety, freshness and spiciness of the local cuisine is beguiling.

Thanaruek Laoraowirodge is one of the city’s best restaurateurs. His restaurant empire includes branches in Beijing, New York and Bangkok. With the Supanniga Eating Room concept, he has fulfilled a dream. The name goes back to the culinary passion of his grandmother “Supanniga”.

Supaniga Eating Room in Tha Tien is recommended by the Michelin Restaurant Guide. It attracts visitors not only with its authentic flavors and exquisite dishes. Located directly on the Chao Praya River, the restaurant’s terrace is a perfect place to take in the hustle and bustle of Bangkok. The view of the breathtaking temple Wat Arun – “Temple of Dawn” – perfectly rounds off the unique ambience.

The restaurant’s menu pays homage to the diversity of Thai cuisine. Each dish is prepared with fresh ingredients and a balanced combination of spices. From spicy curries and fragrant rice to delicate fish dishes and delicious meat specialties, the restaurant offers a rich selection of classic Thai delicacies. Modernly implemented and presented in a contemporary way. The restaurant itself impresses with its inviting ambience. It combines traditional Thai architecture with fresh touches. The attentive service of the staff helps to make guests feel completely at ease.

The wine list is international – German wines can also be found in it. It is hardly surprising that a Riesling from Weingut Robert Weil is on the menu. Hardly any other grape variety is better suited to Thai cuisine than Riesling. Seen, ordered and enjoyed! That’s how beautiful life can be at 26°C and 80% humidity.
