In the Sylter GenussMacherei , true Sylt originals are created, such as the fine “Fleur de Sylt” sea salt, which is carefully extracted from North Sea water and gently dried. The in-house salt works make this unique production possible. In addition, handmade pasta specialties, which are made by hand according to original recipes, will delight. Only selected ingredients such as durum wheat semolina and Sylt sea salt are used.
Sylter GenussMacherei also focuses on the highest quality and authenticity in beer production. The “WATT” beer, brewed according to the German Purity Law, is produced with the greatest care. The special feature of this beer is the pure North Sea water condensate, which is produced as a “bycatch” during sea salt production and, together with the Sylt deep fresh water, forms the basis for the beer. The brewery produces only 500 liters of beer a day, divided into four delicious varieties: WATT Blondes, WATT Dunkles, WATT’n Pale Ale and WATT Malziges.
