Under the motto “be unique – unique like yourself”, the focus is on people in their uniqueness. A stay in one of the two hotels in Kiel and in Bremen’s Tabakquartier is intended to be a unique experience and makes the unique by ATLANTIC Hotels the ideal starting point. The architecture and interior of the hotel impress with their clear design and fine details that refer to the special location and its industrial history.
Track and field athlete Alica Schmidt, mountain biker Marc Diekmann and kitesurfer Jendric Burkhardt can identify very well with this lifestyle. The three ‘unique friends’ are emblematic of a new, self-confident generation that knows exactly what they are willing to pay for and what they are not, not only when travelling. In an entertaining clip, Alica Schmidt gives an insight into the world of unique by ATLANTIC Hotels. Important for Alica Schmidt: a comfortable bed, a good location and a ‘mobile phone key’. Alica Schmidt has been a unique fan from the very beginning. She is not only one of the best runners in Europe, but also the most popular German athlete on social media. With her 3.7 million followers on Instagram, she has made it onto the Forbes “
30 under 30 2022
” list and is in front of the camera together with Khaby Lame for the fashion label Boss. Despite her success, the 24-year-old has remained humble. “I can’t explain the development on my Instagram account,” says Alica Schmidt. “Of course, I’m very grateful for that and I really enjoy exchanging ideas with other people.” Many rooms have a kitchenette – perfect for guests who want to travel flexibly and independently. But her life is not only about jet-set tours and photo shoots, but also about clear routines. After all, the native of Worms is a thoroughbred athlete and a student of media and communication sciences. “A typical day in my life is that I get up in the morning and make myself breakfast. Then I sit down and do something for university, eat a light lunch and go to training in the afternoon. This takes about four hours. Then not much happens to me in the evening because I’m just tired and go to bed relatively quickly.” Like many other athletes, she particularly appreciates the time off from training. “I look forward to my off-season all year round to go on holiday and discover new things. A city trip to Bremen is also very nice and I’m happy when I can switch off a bit,” says Alica Schmidt. And she succeeds particularly well at the unique by ATLANTIC Hotels Bremen. “The team is super nice, the beds are super comfortable and the location is really great. Theatre, bouldering hall, restaurants, fitness studio and the proximity to the Weser beach – guests can enjoy varied days in Bremen’s Tabakquartier. I think it’s really cool that I can easily check in and out of the hotel on the go and that my mobile phone also works as a key card.”.
