Every menu includes a sweet dessert - and the matching dessert wine. To ensure that the last course becomes a sensual treat, the 23-year-old Berlin entrepreneur Cheyenne von Thun enriches the world of digestifs and dessert wines with her label Sin With Mind with two innovative taste discoveries: Chardomell®, a harmonious interplay of fruity-mild Chardonnay with a melt-in-the-mouth caramel taste, and Merlscho®, a seductive combination of finely tart Merlot with a dark chocolate taste.

Creating a completely new after-dinner drink came to Cheyenne von Thun’s mind some time ago.

“I was looking for the right addition to a dessert for a long time. Together with friends, I tried out countless variations – that was the birth of Chardomell® and Merlscho®.”

The young CEO of Universe-CFC has not only been a wine lover for many years, but also always attaches maximum importance to aesthetics, quality and creativity. She not only implements these values with her new label Sin With Mind, but also creates extravagant designs for her wine bottles, because the 0.5 L bottles in matt black glass glow under UV light. An effect that will set accents, especially in the club scene. The packaging box also promises an extra portion of sophistication.

“Our two products are also available in an exclusive gift box with our black eye mask. The mask stands for sin and seduction, so to speak, in keeping with our brand.”

Hardly on the market, the two new products Chardomell® and Merlscho® already received an award: Both dessert wines were awarded 3 stars and the silver medal by the gourmet magazine “Selection”. The culinary fusion of the Chardonnay and Merlot grape varieties with caramel and chocolate flavour has an alcohol content of 10.0% VOL. At a drinking temperature of 12°C, Chardomell® unfolds its exclusive aroma. Merlscho® is ideally enjoyed at a temperature of 13°C.

Both new products are now available online at www.sin-with-mind.com, in selected wine shops as well as in delicatessen and gift shops for 19.90 euros per bottle or in an exclusive gift box for 49.90 euros (manufacturer’s recommended retail price).

About Cheyenne von Thun

Inspired by her parents’ wine cellar, the young founder Cheyenne Gräfin von Thun und Hohenstein Veit developed a great interest in wines from various countries at a young age. At the age of 18, however, she realized that the tart taste of the wines her father liked to drink did not correspond to her idea of wine enjoyment. She often wondered: How can you make a sweeter alternative out of tart wine? “This was the beginning of my journey with Universe-CFC and my search,” Cheyenne von Thun recalls the decisive moment when she decided to found her own start-up in Berlin. CFC stands for her first name Cheyenne Françoise Charleen, Universe reflects her own cosmos. “From the very beginning, the main intention of Universe-CFC was to create products that are unique in taste and set aesthetic standards.”

The linguistically gifted cosmopolitan with a BA in Fashion Marketing, Master of Arts at Central Saint Martins University and a completed graduate program in diamonds at GIA London received support from a friend of her family, who was enthusiastic about her idea: “I asked him to ask a wine merchant which wines would go well with chocolate.” She then tried various wines with chocolate, caramel, honey and fruit with friends and family. The result was the two dessert wine creations Chardomell® and Merlscho®, a Chardonnay with caramel flavor and a Merlot with chocolate flavor.
